Plastic Bottle Flowers

Cut the bottom off a plastic water bottle. Then cut “petals” down the sides. Bend each strip back into a petal shape. Paint your flower. Add pipe cleaners for stamen/pistils and a stem for standing in the window box. (I melted a hole near the cap with a large nail, heated on my stove, then stuck a florist stick through it). Helen Feild taught the children at church how to do this. I came home and couldn’t stop making them.

This is a great idea, and I am trying something similar. Thanks for sharing. I am sure a lot of people liked it, and tried even though they didn’t comment.
