Woman’s Search for Meaning

Day 115…

Yesterday I attended Debbie Engle and Katherine Usher’s art show at Lila’s.  Their art was made from recycled materials.  Certainly inspiring for one who names her blog “compostingalife.”
And the piece that spoke most intimately to me?  Debbie’s Viktor Frankl, which is now “mine.”
(Pardon the amateur photography…it doesn’t do the work justice.)
-That which is to give light must endure burning.
-Between stimulus and response there is a space. In that space is our power to choose our response. In our response lies our growth and our freedom.
-Live as if you were living a second time, and as though you had acted wrongly the first time.
-The last of human freedoms – the ability to chose one’s attitude in a given set of circumstances.   Viktor Frankl
Writing topic:  The ability to choose
