A Change in Weather…Again

Day 165…

After a week of gentle spring-like weather, the front blowing in this morning is a strong indication that winter is not yet over.  Maybe the preview of what’s to come will get us through this next period of cold rain.

I don’t have anywhere to be until 4:00 for the next two days, there’s still homemade soup in my freezer, and at least three books to read.  There are several on-going projects in my art room, “new” pieces from my past to find places for, and lessons to prepare for this semester’s  intern seminars.

By staying inside I can focus on what is in front of me and let go of the future spring projects for now–the planting of vegetables, cleaning up the front flower bed, and hiking nearby nature trails with my camera and sketch pad.
